Sitting on a Star (2009)

The idea came up from a quick origami paper model, which I then brought to human scale by adapting it on sheets of cardboard. Cardboard is a cheap, recyclable and easily available material; the chair can be made even from large packaging waste. The users can get the sheets pre-cut and folded to the appropriate dimensions or cut and assemble it from found material according to the freely available diagram.
